How much does an AI agent cost an SME in 2026? Prices published in France, Spain and Belgium

In short

• Set-up: six providers display an entry price of €499 to €4,000. The median is €1,150.

Some AI agent providers display their prices on their website. We recorded them in France, Spain and Belgium. With them, an agent is generally paid for in two stages: the set-up, once, then a monthly supervision subscription.

Set-up: the entry prices displayed by six providers

The target market is the country of the page recorded, not necessarily that of the head office. A flow is a chain of automatic steps. n8n is software used to build them. HT and HTVA mean excluding tax. With no mention, the page does not specify the tax.

Entry prices range from €499 to €4,000. The median is €1,150: half the prices are below, the other half above. Genee goes up to €15,000 excl. VAT. This entry price does not always cover an AI agent. BECAI’s package contains none: its simple agent costs €900 to €1,800 incl. VAT. Just Handle displays its agents from €3,500 excl. VAT. With these two prices instead, the median becomes €1,200.

Two providers also publish a time-based price: from €650 excl. VAT per day of support at Just Handle, €150 per hour of consulting incl. VAT at BECAI.

Supervision and maintenance: twelve amounts recorded

In service, the agent must be monitored, and repaired when one of your tools changes.

That makes twelve amounts, counting both of Flowmatic’s bounds: from €49 to €900 per month, median €274. With only each provider’s first level, the median falls to €164.

Two large software publishers charge for their agent by usage. Intercom charges $0.99 per “resolution” for its Fin agent, for example when the customer confirms their problem is solved. Salesforce displays for Agentforce, on its European page and as a guide, €2 per conversation. These prices pay for the use of software, not for its set-up or supervision.

What makes the price vary

• The connected tools. BECAI charges €150 for each additional integration in its n8n offer installed on your servers. Each connected tool needs a connector: a small program that links to the agent, to be written or adapted, then maintained.
• Complexity. FlowBelgium goes from €499 to €800-1,500 excl. VAT when the automation includes conditions, branches and error handling. At BECAI, the advanced agent, which also searches your documents, costs €2,000 to €4,500 incl. VAT.
• Response time. Codanter, an agency that maintains websites, asks €90 per month for a 24-hour response. For a 1-hour response and 24/7 support, it is €390: more than four times as much. At BECAI, support goes from 72 h to 24 h between the €79 level and the €179 level.
• On-call cover. This is a person ready to step in quickly in case of a breakdown, sometimes outside office hours. Genee offers “business-hours” on-call cover from €550 per month and “extended” on-call cover from €900, with more flows and hours.

The audit: often free, rarely sold separately

Four of the six providers offer a free first conversation of 20 to 45 minutes: FlowBelgium, BECAI, Just Handle and Genee. IA par métier includes a one-hour audit in its package. Flowmatic does not mention a free audit.

Two also sell the audit. BECAI displays a basic audit at €390 incl. VAT, without saying whether it is deducted from the project. Just Handle puts the audit of your processes inside its support offer, from €650 excl. VAT per day.

In France, the State offers a “Diagnostic Data IA” of €10,000 excl. VAT, 40% funded by France 2030. It targets SMEs and mid-sized companies (ETI) of 10 to 2,000 employees. Bpifrance Conseil carries it out.

Our choice: a short audit, at €490 excl. VAT; its price is deducted from the quote if you sign it within 30 days. Whether or not you sign, it leaves you with a one-page report: your tools and their versions, your workflows, the volumes, the personal data involved, the expected gains and the agents that fit. You also receive a quote.

The costs people forget

The AI model. This is the engine of the agent. It is paid for by the token, a piece of text: a word, part of a word or a character. Our agents will generally rely on Claude, from Anthropic. Claude Sonnet 5.5 costs $2 per million tokens read and $10 per million tokens written, at Anthropic’s global rate. With Amazon Bedrock and Google Cloud, you can keep the processing in one zone, for example the European Union. According to Anthropic’s documentation, this choice costs 10% more.

Example calculation, with assumed volumes: 1,000 requests per month, of 2,000 tokens read and 500 written. That makes 2 million tokens read ($4) and 500,000 tokens written ($5), or about $9 per month. With the 10% for the European zone, count about $10. Amazon and Google set their own prices, published on their pricing pages. An agent that reads long documents uses far more. This cost is calculated on your real volumes.

Hosting. Genee estimates n8n hosting at €30 to €80 per month, included in its packages. With us, you will choose where the agent runs: in your account with an online hosting provider (the “cloud”), in a European region; on your servers; or on a dedicated server with us. Approval time. During the shadow trial, a few weeks of a length defined with you, the agent will propose and your team will still do the work. Then, at autonomy level 1, a person will approve each action before it is carried out. This time counts: the agent’s log will record each approval, who gave it and when.

Our prices: on quote, and how we calculate them

Each set-up depends on your tools: our prices are on quote.

The method. The audit measures the complexity of the work and counts the days. The quote follows from it. The set-up will include the agent’s rulebook, approved by you, the build, the tests, the shadow trial and the training of your team. What supervision covers is specified in your quote.

Survey method and date

• Date. Pages read on 11 October 2026, re-checked on the 12th.
• Scope. The prices a provider displays for its own offer. Ranges from blogs and guides left out.
• Mixed taxes. BECAI displays its prices incl. VAT: at the Spanish standard rate of 21%, its €790 is about €653 excl. VAT. Several pages do not specify the tax.
• Different contents. LTC Group does not say whether its €249 includes the set-up. Flowmatic announces both included maintenance and maintenance at €50 to €150 per month.
• Small sample. Six and six providers do not make a market study. None gives its prices by company size.
